Latitude is a business laptop series marketed by Dell but designed and manufactured by Quanta and Compal. The Dell Latitude E7470 is a touchscreen laptop released from Dell in April of 2016 as part of Latitude’s Exx70 model line. The E7470 model was released in April 2016.
The Dell Latitude E7470 is marketed towards businesses, providing a durable laptop with a battery life of 9 hours. The laptop also has the option to add a fingerprint reader to provide additional log-in convenience and security. The E7470 model features a 14.0-inch display with a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels. This laptop includes 256 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM. It runs on the Windows 10 Pro operating system.
A LaptopMag review praised the Dell Latitude E7470 for having a comfortable, ergonomically-favorable keyboard that allows for hours of nonstop typing. The laptop is also noted for being a convenient, sleek business laptop that still gets the job done. On the other hand, it is criticized for having rear-facing ports, making plugging anything in a bit inconvenient.
The E7470 includes a black magnesium alloy body and the name “Dell” in silver capital letters in the center of the display’s bottom bezel. The laptop includes ports on both sides of its base as well as on the back of the machine.
