Sporting a brushed metallic finish, this model of the Dell Inspiron released in 2012. New features of this line included unique photo and document editing technology.
It utilized a dual-cored Intel Core i5 clocked at 2.2GHz. With its AMD Radeon HD 8730M, its 1024MB of VRAM rendered moderately demanding software, such as high-detail photo-editing and mid-tier game processing. Additionally, its memory consisted of 8192MB of RAM and a terabyte of storage space, making it ideal for managing large-scale projects. The LCD display, measuring at 17.3’’ with a resolution of 1600x900, optimized viewing media in 4K.
The Inspiron 5000 series was later replaced by the 7000 series in 2015.
