How do I replace the film door?

my film door latch got messed up and doesn’t close properly and long story short i need to replace it. i bought a replacement door on ebay, how should i go about replacing the film door?

Are you able to lift the knob up and can see the latch within the body raise up?

yes i am able to lift the knob up but im not sure which latch you're referring to

yes i am able to lift the knob up but im not sure which latch you're referring to — grace j
