Computer Will Not Power On
When pressing the power button, computer does not respond or turn on.
Damaged Power Adapter(Charger)
After plugging the AC adapter into the AC port a light at the bottom left corner of the laptop should display either a white light indicating laptop is fully charged, an orange light indicating its charging at the moment, or a flashing orange light indicating very low battery and it should be left unused so it can charge quicker. If none of these indications occurs it means your adapter is broken.
Faulty Battery
Check to see if battery is secured and locked in place. Plug in the AC adapter(charger) then turn on the laptop. After the laptop turns on unplug the AC adapter. If laptop shuts off right away upon removing adapter it is indicative of a faulty battery and the battery may need to be replaced. Computer Won't Boot
Your computer does not load the Operating System and instead takes you to an error message.
Hard Drive Error
Your computer enter an endless cycle of resetting without entering the usual home screen. If a blue screen with intricate error codes appears it may be necessary to replace the hard drive.
Replace Hard Drive
If the device is experiencing a loop which resets the device then automatically turning it back on there may be an issue with the hard drive. After a couple of loops a blue screen will appear displaying some error message. This is known as "Blue Screen of Death". This blue screen is a sign that your hard drive could be corrupted and need to be replace. Click here for a guide on how to replace your hard drive.
Not Enough RAM
In some cases a blue error screen may be the result of faulty RAM storage. Overusing the device memory can lead to the crashing of certain programs, or even a complete system crash. A possible solution would be to check the amount of memory being used at the time and make sure that it is not exceeding the amount your RAM is able to handle.
Connectivity Issues
Laptop having trouble connecting to WiFi/ unable to read WiFi signals.
Check Router Connection
Check your router box and see if the WiFi display light is on, if not reset your router by either finding the reset button for your router and press it or unplug the main power cord of your router and re plugging it.
Check WiFi Setting
On the home screen a WiFi icon is on the bottom right corner. Click on the WiFi icon and locate your unique WiFi display name. Click on the WiFi icon associated with the network connection and enter your WiFi password. The WiFi password may be located on WiFi router.
Outdated Drivers
Make sure that your WiFi is turned by placing the cursor on the WiFi icon on laptop display screen. If Wi-Fi is already on and the computer cannot properly connect to Wi-Fi go to the Lenovo website and download the appropriate driver for the correct operating system.
No Display
Your device won't load onto your desktop home screen.
Force Restart
Hold the power button for 10 second to make sure your system is completely shut down. Let the laptop sit for about 5-10 minutes before turning it back on. Sometimes this can solve the problem due to software issues causing the laptop to freeze up.
Damaged Screen
If screen is noticeably damaged or is unreadable to to discoloration then the screen needs to be replaced. Click here for a guide to replace your damage/broken screen.
Failure to Read CD's and DVD's
Your Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15IBR will not read any CD's or DVD's.
Disk is Scratched
Before you proceed to replacing optical drive check to see If the disc you inserted is noticeably scratched consider replacing the disc as this could be the reason the disc will not play.
Broken/Defective Optical Drive
If your Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15IBR optical drive does not open or does not read CD's or DVD's, the optical drive may be broken and needs to be replaced.

Lots of awesome answers here but none to fix my problem
- my laptop is a Lenovo 110 ideapad
- my laptop powers on straight away to show the boot menu and no matter what you click it will continue to show this
- I entered the BIOS menu and it wasn't reading my hard drive
- took the back off and took out the hard drive and put it back in - rechecked and it has been recognised by my laptop
- however the problem still occurs with it opening straight to boot menu
please help!! ((Amij15@hotmail.com)) if you think you can help me i’d really appreciate it.

Lenovo IdeaPad 110 died during update. Now stuck in continuous loop when I turn it on. It goes from the Lenovo logo to a really quick flash of the border of a pop up box to “attempting to recover installation" to “restoring your previous version of Windows" and back to Lenovo logo. Left like this for 30 mins more nothing changed tried turning it on and off loads nothing is changing. Can't find any help online.
Only have this laptop since Christmas. Barely used only for CD ROM.

Cannot connect to my AOL, also when turned on, it goes off again and I keep on having to press the start button it's very slugish takes forever to start And never stays on for longer than a few seconds. My Lenovo IdeaPad 110. I’ve had it for 2.5 years no problems except the battery life not lasting long, that didn’t bother me as it stayed at home anyways. My laptop went flat the other day even though it was on charge. I bought another charger thinking the adapter was the problem. However, the problem persists. My laptop would charge once plugged in for a second and then stop charging.

I press the power button and it will say it’s turned on but the only thing that is wrong is that the screen stays black. It never turns the screen on, let alone it even trying. I’m trying to force restart it but it won’t work. Nothing else is really even wrong with it. What should I do?

Bought two of them for my daughter for college. Turned the one on to show her how it worked. She wanted a chrome book put it back in the box. A month ago I pulled it out and started using it.
The screen went black. Will power up but does nothing else. Screen remains black but does have faint gray sometimes when powering up (so not lcd)… I believe it is an inside cable. These should have been recalled ages ago.

I brought a brand new Boxed lenovo ideapad 110 is crashes the HDD whilst loading the operating system.. What could be the problem. Am reated it to the shop they are accusing me that l have damaged the laptop, what could be the problem.

Lenovo ideapad flex 4, less than 3 years old. Goes blank with a black screen at random times while in use. Power button is still lit up, but nothing on the screen. I reboot/ nothing. I turn off and try now and again for several days…finally it acts normal. Any suggestions??

My Leveno IdeaPad 110 will not accept my SD card. It will not slide into the slot in any direction. there is what looks like a tiny metal contact/protrusion on the right interior that seems to be blocking the drive. I don’t want to force it but perhaps I am supposed to. HELP. I can’t view any of my SD photo cards!

Hi,my lenovo ideapad 110 is so slow, it takes couple of minutes to load after single click and after the 2nd time i click nothing is happing. Cursor is moving but can't click, it's not selecting. I tried touchpad and right click but no luck. Touchpad is on and working good, coz cursor is moving. After turning it on its so hard to even connect to wifi coz it takes so long to load. Tried reset or reboot but its showing fails reset coz of os something. If you think you can help plz reply.
