What are these lines on the screen

A few months ago got a thinkpad t14 gen 3, when I opened it there was a small spot on the edge of the screen, it wasn't very noticeable so I decided to just ignore it. Recently though I noticed that it has grown from a spot to a line, and there is two of them on the left side of the screen. They are only really visible when I look at the screen from a weird angle. Is it safe for me to ignore this or is it something that I should fix. I have circled where the lines are in the attached pictures. I have not dropped it at all or done anything that would damage the screen.

Zachariah Orton looks like issues with the diffuser or polarizer sheets. For now, I would suggest that you ignore those. The only fix for that would be to replace the complete display. If you do want to work on your laptop, you can download the maintenance manual from here Page 93 deals with the LCD.

Thank you. I'm glad that it isn't something serious. i will just ignore it for now because i don't want to spend $200 on a new LCD.
