How to replace thermostat housing?
I have a 2009 Jaguar XF and I went to replace thermostat and when I removed I noticed a piece was broke in the housing.

@mikesmith2005 since we do not know where and how it is broken nor do we know what engine size this is, use the coolant part from the workshop manual and see if that will help you out. Jag-Cooling.pdf If that does not work for you provide more information about your vehicle and post some pictures about where and how the housing is damaged. Use this guide 在已经存在的问题里加入图片 for that.

I'm also having the same issue with my 2009 Jaguar XF Luxury. Its a 4.2L no Supercharger. When I took the thermostat out I noticed it was broken on the inside were the thermostat slides Into. Is there a guide for the replacement of that part? Thank you.
