Bypass passcode lock original owner unavailable
How can I bypass passcode lock if original owner is unavailable? Was given to me as a trade but I was did not check to get the passcode during transaction because the battery was dead

@chadmillette you are stuck in a pickle here. The iPad is locked to the previous owner and only they or Apple can unlock it. To get Apple to unlock requires oodles of documentation and begging and you have to be the original owner. Since you took the iPad in trade that will not work for you. So, unless you can get the previous owner to use their credentials to unlock this iPad, it is a paper weight to you. There is no bypassing this.
