Head/Feet Controls Not Working
I need help. I am a disabled, double amputee who bought a Hill Rom Total Care Sport bed in my home since I am bedridden and comfort is a priority. I have had the bed for several years, but yesterday out of the blue, the head and foot buttons will not work to raise the head section. I am stuck lying flat on my back in a rather uncomfortable position. My family tried unplugging the bed to reset it, but it did not work. There are no warning lights or error messages. The button makes a noise likes it's trying to lift when pushed but nothing happens. My family checked the brakes to make sure they were unlocked and nothing seems to be in the way or out of place. I called multiple companies today who said they cannot help me as the bed is in a private home rather than a hospital or doctor's office. Anyone with any suggestions to help troubleshoot this?

@kwarner9772 do you have the model number for the bed? I am looking at the schematic etc. for the SportCare 2 right now trying to figure out where and what to check. Just to clarify you are saying that neither the head nor the foot button raises the specific areas of the bed. Correct? Have you noticed any hydraulic oil leaking under the bed? I wonder if this "button makes a noise likes it's trying to lift" is related to the hydraulics.

Correct. No error codes. No hydraulic oil leak. Bed makes the normal sound when you hit the head up or knee up button but no movement happens. It is the Hill-Rom TotalCare Sport P1900 ICU Bed.
