My screen is cracked
The screen is cracked and has white lines going horizontally across the screen. The laptop works just like it usually would.

@mrmachamp without actually seeing it and only going by your description, this sounds like a broken screen. Time to replace it. To work on it, use the Dell Precision 15 3551 Service Manual Page 108 shows you how to replace it. Replacements are readily available at many online sellers.
While you work on your laptop, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
