@chrissrich could be an issue with your LCD or with the motherboard. rule the LCD out first. Connect and external monitor via HDMI cable to your computer. Start your computer and see if that external monitor display properly.
If it does not use the FN+F5 hot keys to make sure that it switches to your external monitor. Should it still not display anything, the issue will be on your motherboard. If the external monitor display properly, tehn the issue is you LCD and it will most likely have to be replaced.
