Lens cover will not close/open
When I turn it on, the is a sound of a motor in two different pitches, but the lens cover will not open or close. I can manually move it open/close. How can I best service this? Unit is only 5 months old.

@edwardalbada those places are great for giving consumers a runaround :-(
I would try a reset to the factory settings. If that does not work your camera may have issues with the LENS BARRIER DRIVE circuit Check the Panasonic HC VX870 SM

@oldturkey03 apparently not. It was purchased at @BestBuy as "open box". They already gave me a thorough runaround.
