Just curious, did a quick teardown just to see the innards. I put the controller back together and everything is good except for one thing, which isn’t a deal breaker just a little annoying, the light on the mute button. The actual mute button works, as I have it mapped for my toggle mute on discord, but for whatever reason the light won’t go on, any help on this? And if I need replacement parts can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance!

Remove the controller case, see if the LED actually lights up.
If it lights up, probably the button wasn’t assembled correctly and the rubber cover got wrinkled up, blocked the light.

Just did another teardown now, tested it with the motherboard facing me and the light does not goes on at all
Did you ever figure out how you did this? Cause I want to do this on purpose, &&^& this stupid mute light
The light is directly on the motherboard. Please check if all the cables are 100% connected as it should be. In the worst case, you need to replace the LED light there. This requires micro soldering, so it won't be easy. Contacting a local repair shop is then most likely the best thing to do. Sorry for the bad news..
