Hi Jake! Please check the official Sony website for more info: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/hardware/ps4/system-software/ You are able to download 2 files there. 1: The update file, which can restore it if it's stuck, or just for updating the PS4. 2: The reinstallation file, this one is meant if the update file is not working or if you want do a "factory reset", or if you replaced the hard drive. Note: All the current stored local data will be wiped. Some additional info: Your USB drive needs to be formatted to FAT32. And the folder structure goes as: PS4 (folder) > UPDATE (folder) > PS4UPDATE.PUP (file). It's also explained at the Playstation website added to this post. I recommend to try the update file first, if it still wont go further or is giving errors, please proceed with the reinstallation file. If this one is still stopping the PS4 from booting to the menu, or if this one is also giving errors, you probably need to replace the hard disk. Replacing the hard disk is easy to do, and you...
Hi Allen! Hmm, I think it's the DVD drive sensor which failed. After some time it will inject the disk and eject it, right? If yes, probably your sensor is failing. I would replace that one first and see how that goes. If the sensor is not doing it's job as it should, you can encouter some weird issues with the Wii.
Hi Gavin! To be honest, this is most likely a motherboard issue. Some PSP's are showing the same issue. I only had this once, as I disassembled the PSP, a IC came clean off the motherboard (can't remember which IC came off). I recommend to open it up and check what's wrong and reball (solder) it. Or replace the motherboard (this is more expensive).
Hi Nan! I know that if the ribbon cable is not all in the connector, it can show the same issue you got now. Is it deep enough in the connector, for like 100% sure and locked? If yes, then I'm afraid you should replace the motherboard... Could be the connector or any other micro component which failed.
Hi! Not sure about the size, but I doubt if you can buy it separately. I know that if you buy a new shell (for example at AliExpress), you will get a new square nut, which you can transfer to your current back cover. Example: https://godofgamingshop.com/collections/...-boy-advance-sp-parts/products/game-boy-advance-sp-shell You could also contact them if they have a square nut available.
Hi! Could be multiple issues going on. I would open up the Xbox to clean it. Also check for white (oxidated) spots on the motherboard and other components. The best way to clean it is to use isopropyl alcohol. How to open the Xbox: Xbox One Motherboard Replacement - iFixit Repair Guide
Hi! Most likely a GPU issue as the problem persist with both HDMI and AV. I’m affraid that you need to reflow it or replace it. You could also replace the motherboard, but this is more expensive.
Hi! Both are glitched as, not working at all? And to answer your question: Yes it’s soldered on the motherboard. You can replace it if you know how to micro-solder. Otherwise you need to bring it to a local repair shop. I don’t think the part is expensive, but the work that needs to be done to replace it will cost more.
Hi Joshua! Basically it means that you need to replace the cable. I would replace it first and see how that goes. Just get the glue off and de-solder the cable. Make photo’s before you proceed as you need to know which color goes where. It will not be easy to find the cable (part).
Hi Macy! It’s a unlucky part which is broken. It will be difficult to find the part you need to replace. So those are the options: (1) You can buy a new working drive and replace it (PCB does not need to be swapped for Wii). And strip the broken drive for parts (laser, rotor, worm motor and more..) (2) You can buy a broken drive and take the good parts out (including the gear you need) and put it in your old drive. I don’t think you will find the part that easy. You can always try to search for it (I did too now, but didn’t find the part you need).
No problem! Happy that I'am able to help you to identify wether it's fake or not :D! It's better to buy it at a "well known store". It's more expensive most of the times, but it will be a genuine controller for sure.
Hi! You can skip step 11. Just make sure you got the newest Xbox update ready on your USB. Turn on your Xbox with your new Xbox formatted HDD or SSD, and continue with the update on your USB.
I think it’s a genuine controller. The genuine controller is difficult to open anyway. You need to take out the screws, and loose it from the clips. You cant open it with your hands, you need to un-clip it first (ifixit opening picks recommended). I would ignore the led color for now. It’s normal behavior that it’s showing the yellow/orange color while charging.
It depends. There are so many different fakes on the market, so I can’t tell you for sure. I think it’s the rubber inside which is worn/teared. You could try to see if a genuine rubber fits and do the job.
@Arve, if it doesn’t light up and not doing anything, please check the disk lid sensors. There are 2 of them. 1 on the motherboard and the second one is located at the top of the power switch. Please check if they are both okay.

Is there a way to return the controller? Looks like you got a pretty bad clone :(.
Yeah, looks like the controller is not genuine :(. Happy that my guide was able to help you to identify :)!
Your welcome :)!
You are totally right. You can even pop it out through the "KB" holes with a plastic spudger, so it will pop out the case.

Thanks! I adjusted it straight away.
