Screen Flashes Then No Display

I have an Apple Watch series 2 42mm and the screen doesnt work. I’ll turn it off and then tap the screen and it flashes the display for a split second but then nothing. Any ideas on what the cause could be? It’s never been dropped or near water. Could it be a bad display or bad connection somewhere? Thanks
