I have an old apple watch that was stored for a long time, now it doesn’t turn on, it gets stuck in a beating apple logo when connected, support sais there is no solution but a paid replacement. I found on internet an iBUS cable that claims to be a way to enter DFU mode so you are able to apply a full restore from the OS image. Do you know if it is real and if it works?

Yes, the iBus tool is what you will need to enter into DFU mode.

I have an original Apple Watch with a corrupted iOS and I bought an iBus S1 to attempt a recovery. Unfortunately signed OS update files are no longer available, so as far as I can tell an update with iTunes is no longer possible.
The only alternative I've seen is to get a membership on the manufacturer's site, which then allows you to use their tools to update with (presumably) an unsigned file.
I bought mine used without a serial number so I can't register it, leaving me unable to use their tools and therefore unable to update my watch. It does, however, work great with iTunes if I only had a valid file to use.
