No screen image at all after falling asleep on phone... Overheated?
Woke up with phone under me. Since then, screen shows only dark. LED still blinks and it will charge, etc… just no picture. What does it need? If anything can be done…

You may have damaged the screen, so let’s try replacing the screen as it would be the most simple solution.
If we determine the screen is not the problem then you can return the screen fast and easy if bought from iFixit. This screen also has a lifetime warranty so if the screen gives out again you can get another replacement completely free.
