Hi,
Do u have a dvd drive also connected. You need to open your computer and look for the cables that connect the hard disk and dvd drive to the motherboard. Try using different sata ports. If still it does not work, try plugging them one at a time. Hope this helps. Write back on what u did. Good luck.

I tried your suggestions and still no luck. Tried different ports and reconnected the wires and tried to reboot but it jusy says install the sysytem disk. But I dont even think it came with one so I dont know what else to do besides buying a new hard drive or
purhasing a new disk. Thanks for your help, any more ideas send them my way.

Jamie, that error code means your hard disk has failed. You can use the hard disk diagnostic test in BIOS for further confirmation. that is also the reason why "it jusy says install the system disk." You can further verify this by setting your BIOS to boot from the optical drive and use something like a Linux Live disk. To repair it you will have to purchase a new SATA2 hard disk, remove the failed disk and install the new one. Follow these directions to reinstall your OS. Of course if you do not have the OS check on here how to obtain a copy. Hope this helps, good luck.
