Background and Identification

The EOS 20D is the successor to the EOS 10D, and was followed by the EOS 30D in 2006. It accepts EF and EF-S lenses and uses an APS-C sized CMOS image sensor. It has 9 autofocus points, a shutter speed range of 1/8000 to 30s plus bulb mode, can shoot 5 frames per second up to 23 frames in jpeg mode and 6 in RAW mode, has a pentaprism viewfinder, a fixed 1.8 inch LCD on the rear, and uses BP-511A batteries.
