Swimming Pool Repair

Swimming pools are designed to provide users with an aquatic environment for swimming, water recreation, or just to hang out in and cool off. There are numerous different types of swimming pools, including both in-ground and above-ground pools. In-ground pools are built by digging a hole into the ground and filling it with water. Alternatively, above-ground pools are self-contained pools that require users to climb up into them. Above-ground pools are generally much more portable, and some smaller above-ground pools are made for easy assembly and disassembly whenever the user desires.

In-ground pools are the most common type of swimming pool. They are usually found both outdoors and indoors. In-ground pools are often located at recreation centers, neighborhood facilities, and private backyards. In-ground pools are also commonly found at hotels and spas.

The first swimming pool was an in-ground pool, built around the 3rd millennium BC. The pool was 39 x 23 feet and made of bricks and a tar-based sealant.

Swimming pools are identified as being large human-made areas filled with water (and disinfecting chemicals). Swimming pools are similar to other bodies of water (i.e. lakes, ponds, etc.) except they are, usually, much cleaner.
