The Shark Rocket IX141 is from the “Rocket” series of handheld stick vacuums made by Shark Ninja. It is under the sub-series of Rocket IX140/IZ140, which are cordless pet vacuums supporting the following model numbers: IX140, IX140C, IX140H, IX141, IX141BRN, IX141H, IX142, IX143, IX144AMZ, IZ140, IZ140C, IZ141C, IZ142, IZ145, IZ240, IZ242, QZ140QBL, UZ145, UZ155, WZ140, WZ240, WZ250 and WZ250RD.

It is a light-weight vacuum meant for easy handling to effectively tackle pet hair. The Shark Rocket IX141 is made for convenience, cordless to skip the need for plugs, and features hands-off debris disposal for the dust cup.

Failure modes are indicated by red flashing lights. There are three LEDS on the handheld vacuum located on the right side of the handle grip. There are four failure modes:

1. The leftmost LED flashing means the Shark Rocket IX141 needs to be charged.
2. The leftmost and the rightmost LEDs flashing together means the battery is overheating, and charging will be paused.
3. When the leftmost LED and the middle LED, OR the rightmost LED and the middle LED are flashing in tandem call Shark customer service at 1-877-581-7375.

There have been no recalls made for the Shark Rocket IX141.

The Shark Rocket IX141 can be identified by its indigo accents. The IX141 does not come in any other colors. The model number can be found on the back of its handle base, just behind the handle grip.
