DYMO LabelWriter 450 Repair

The DYMO LabelWriter 450 (model number 1750283), released in 2011, is a device used for printing professional quality label in home and office spaces. The LabelWriter 450 is a thermal printer--no ink cartridges required--and can print up to an advertised 51 labels per minute.

DYMO includes their Label Software, allowing the use of powerful features such as: professional label layouts; printing directly from the Microsoft Office suite, QuickBooks and even more popular programs; and verifying US addresses and zip codes.

Since the release of the LabelWriter 450, there has been one prominent manufacturer recall. Some LabelWriters manufactured after April 1, 2014 will not work with USB 3.0 ports on computers running Windows 7. DYMO has since released a fix which is available on the DYMO LabelWriter 450 product page.
