工具

这是用于在这个设备上工作的一些常用工具。你可能不需要在每个过程中使用到每个工具。

Note: This monitor uses a TN panel. It does not support IPS.

For Mac Users ¶

This monitor may have problems with color accuracy, depending on the color profiles and version of OS X you run. There is a known issue in 10.6 that does not show up in 10.9, so your results will probably vary.

There are a few options to fix the issue. This will go from cheapest to most expensive. NOTE: If you are using DVI, HDMI or DP, you can not correct the problem from the monitor. It must be done in the operating system. if you are using VGA, on monitor adjustment may work and is suggested to supplement the OS calibration.

The free option

If you want to fix it without spending money on a calibrator or 3rd party application, use the Apple Calibration Utility. This isn't the best but it will get the job done.

Set the monitor to a color gamut of 2.2 as a baseline, and see how well it works. If it works well enough, stick to this number. If it still has problems you may need to use something higher, since every panel will be different.

This is not the best solution, but it will fix the problem with minimal effort.

The expensive option

The expensive option is a USB calibrator. There are many brands of these, so you will need to pick the one you like. It needs to work on TN monitors, since this is not an IPS panel.

I think this option is a waste of money. The monitor's color gamut is very thin so you will not get very good results even with a hardware calibrator. This method is overkill but if you want to do it it's an option.
