My L2 press by itself how?

Try resetting the controller first using the small reset button on the back, then reconnect it with a USB cable. If L2 and R2 still activate by themselves, check for dirt or sticking around the triggers. If that doesn't help, the trigger sensor or internal flex connection may be faulty and need inspection.
