4runner dies while driving
90 4runner dies when driving . Wait 20 min, starts back up. Recently had ignition replaced ( after thieves drilled into old one ) Dies with no warning , doesnt cut out , just everything goes dead . Has new battery , new alternator . Just got back from shop who did work on the new ignition i replaced myself ( after thieves drilled out old one )
@lisaboone by this "who did work on the new ignition i replaced myself ( after thieves drilled out old one )" are you referring to the ignition lock or some other ignition component? When it cuts out, do you lose all electrical power? It sounds like you are saying it doesn't feel like running out of gas or similar but like all power is instantly cut? Do I have this somewhat right?
