Ear piece speaker and home button. replacement?

Am I to understand this correctly. I can't find how to replace my home button or ear piece speaker on the front panel. I can't even find the ear piece speaker and home button for sale. However I can buy just the front panel with no ear piece speaker and home button. Or spend more money and buy the front panel with ear piece speaker and home button. My panel is fine. I just need to replace my ear piece speaker and home button. Help me please, someone.

I would also like to know the answer to this as i'm having problems finding any information on how to replace my 3GS ear piece.

I have purchased the small ear piece but would like to understand how to install it?

Hi craig, it might be better if you ask your own question. This question has not gotten answered in almost a year and nobody see that you are asking. GO ahead, it is not hard to do and you'll be surprised how many smart people on here can help you with your phone.

You can find the ear speaker repair parts here:

https://www.wholesalegadgetparts.com/pro...

or on ebay since they aren't offered at ifixit.

You should be able to get most of the way through from the front panel display guide.

iPhone 3GS Front Panel Replacement

Then you could help everyone and take it the extra mile, make a new guide for the ear speaker replacement by taking pictures and explaining the steps as you go!

Yep, do the repair and post the how to... There are some general answers about speaker replacement in answers section too, as this is a recurring question. I've never replaced this part... Love to find out! +
