I have this laptop that wont power on. You can see a faint light on the power button dimly on and when you push power button down its a little brighter but never turns on after letting button go. I have replaced the dc jack as well and ac adapter as well. This all happened after user dropped laptop. Any advice greatly appreciate it.
Does it indicates charging when you pluh charger? If no, there could be a damage to the power board or charging port due to the fall.
It could also be a fault from the screen connector or screen it self which is responsible for display.

well laptop never powers on fyi. When you plug ac adapter into dc jack power button shows a faint white light. When you push the button down the light is a little brighter but never powers on. YOu release power button and nothing happens.. Thats what i was wondering is the power port where the dc jack plugs in is damaged because a new dc jack cable didnt fix it nor did another ac adapter
dont think screen is the issue because laptop doesnt ever power on
@ericpicker98879 time to check for any damage to the motherboard. Right now it sounds like you are having issues with the power rail. We would need to know the exact model of your motherboard (it'll be printed on the the board) and see some well focused images of the top and bottom side of the motherboard.
