Laptop turning on but not working it crashes

When I turn on and type my pass word I can't access to apps nor the bar and even apps that automatically start doesnt show

Just to make sure I understand correctly. It powers on and boots, but once you login you are unable to interact with Windows as normal?

What shows on screen? Do you get a cursor? Or your desktop? It sounds like windows is corrupt.
