What charger could I get for my galaxy smartwatch?

I got a galaxy smartwatch (Tizen one) but it didn't come with a charger - since it was a reseller. So I'm needing to get one. All of the ones I've seen in stores are wireless. I was wondering if maybe there could be a cheaper one I could get like maybe from AliExpress. I've seen ones there that say for Samsung Galaxy watchs (and also "original charger for Samsung Galaxy watch" - that is if I find one in stock) but then some reviews say they don't work for them. Also I saw the video ifixit said about not to get wireless chargers although I was only going to use them for my smartwatch and maybe wireless earbuds (since I don't really care about them since they're bad, well I think so since they only have about 2 hours and I have issues with them). Anyways, I was hoping I could get some advice before I buy a charger for it. As of now I only can charge it with my phone using the wireless power share which I don't really want to use that way to spend more time recharging my phone again. (Also sorry but I don't know what exact number my watch is like a galaxy 5 etc so I picked the basic topic for choose device)

Hi @anthonyp11373

Knowing the watch model will ensure that the appropriate charger can be linked.

You can find the model number printed on the back of the watch e.g. Model: SM-???

Alternatively since the watch is working , in the watch tap on Settings → About watch. The model number is also shown there.

The model is SM-R810

Hi @anthonyp11373

As you say plenty available online, but at least you know they're compatible.

Thanks, and yeah but the thing is I also see they're also on AliExpress for $5 and didn't want to get dooped by someone reselling one of those for more and then it would eventually break or it damaged the battery and I'd have to replace it as well as get a new charger.

That's always the risk, but if you purchased from a local seller then at least if it did fail or damaged the battery (which it shouldn't), within the prescribed warranty period, you would be able to make a claim, but not if purchased from overseas or not easily anyway.

Yeah understandable. Hopefully if I could go to a store and find a charger it won't be like +$30 or something.

Depending on your location it could be only $AU12 - $AU22 instore
