How to fix error (0011)?
referring to oldturkey's answer,
I held down the eject button and the sync button and got the error code
(0011) meaning it is a problem with the CPU. Any suggestions for fixing a problem with this error code??

0011 over heating - If you are receiving this error after disassembling your console make sure to all 8 of the heatsink screws are tightened securely to the board/heatsink holes. This error appears when the CPU overheats. The heat can't be dissipated to the heatsink and/or the heatsink isnt cooled properly. This can be caused by improper thermal compound usage or if the error comes up instantly while booting the console, the heatsink will likely not be making any contact at all with the chip. In rare cases it can also be a faulty temp sensor. From here and here for more info. Hope this helps, good luck.

Not sure if your still active oldturkey but you described my problem exactly near the end. Could you update your links by any chance?
