why does my receiver keep shutting off after being turned on a few minutes?

@jeanhoffman possibly going into protect mode. Are you using it and then it turns off or is it just turned on and then shuts off? The more details you can provide the great the likelihood of receiving a helpful answer.

my audio player shuts off after a few minutes and if turn it back on only goes few minutes shuts off again

Are there any error message in the display window when it shuts down?
When it is on and working can you hear/feel if the ventilation fan at the back of the unit is working?
