Replacing USB connector for USB Cable
Hi, I bought some USB connectors to replace a broken USB connector. Question is the plastic housing doesn't have any lock or clip! Not sure if I need to glue this in or use another method? Thanks.

Where did you find it? The site or packaging should have offered instructions. It’s possible they are expecting it be potted (hot glue) or a crimp of some sort.
I would need the parts info and a few more pics to offer any other help here.
FYI - This is a USB 2 connector it doesn’t offer the added connections for USB 3

USB Cable is from a ring light so only need power!
@analyzer82 - Not sure if potting is the right answer here. I’m suspecting you want to use cyanoacrylate glue (Super Glue) after you have fitted the core in fully tested as this will be a permanent!
