Being a "touch" machine from HP, you can usually only (officially) buy these as assemblies from HP as they UV LOCA glue the screens to the glass unless you get lucky and it isn't glued down and you have one it was bolted onto as an afterthought (rare, usually they fuse it early into the design of the laptops, that luck expires once you leave the budget side in most cases). The way I can tell with HP is if it looks like it has a "gap" between the screen and glass; if it's seamless, it's fused and needs a replacement screen assembly (or at least, the LCD as sold as a module away from the back case). If there's a gap you may be able to just buy the screen if you can take it apart to get the part number.

Sadly on yours, it's fused to the glass if this is anything to rely on, as well as confirmation by the single HP Spare#:

Per HP, yours is "assembly only". THANKFULLY you do not need to buy the back case with the antennas. Will not be cheap, expect it to be bordering in the $200 range: 858711-001; you MAY be able to find just the LCD+glass bonded, but it will come from a parts laptop and not HP.

The trick to working on these is using a guitar pick; if the screen is cracked you can't make it worse. However, you have to disassemble the laptop; been there, tried it on an 840 G5.
