memory card error

About the C:13:01, the Sony manual says it may be due to the hardware faults or may be your memory stick is not formatted properly. It is possible that the problem is in the camera, that the cable connector of the card reader is not making proper connection. It is also possible that the card reader itself not making proper contact with the card. One of the tings that you can do is to take a pencil eraser and rub it on the gold contacts on the memory stick. Do this until you get all the gold contacts nice and clean. Put the stick in the camera, switch to 'Setup', then turn the camera on. The 'C:13:01' error should automatically disappear.
