The Early 2009 Mac Pro—also known as the Mac Pro 4,1—introduced Intel's Nehalem architecture to Apple's line of professional desktop computers in March 2009. The Mac Pro 5,1 used the same interior design but received further CPU updates in 2010 and 2012.

Logic Board replacement needed

Hi, I have a 2010 Mac Pro 5,1 that needs the logic board replaced. I can’t find any complete boards for sale in Australia. Most of them come from the U.S. If I purchase one from the U.S, will I have any issues regarding different power voltage? Australia runs 240 volts and America runs 120 volts…Or does it not matter because the PSU is 240 volt?

Thanks in advance.

@dooma73 it will not matter where you get the logic board from. It is your PSU that matters and it will supply the right output voltages to your logic board.
