Amana won't complete a cycle.

My Amana won't complete a cycle. I have to start on normal then once that stops, I have to turn the dial to rinse/spin then once that stops, I have to turn it again to drain/spin. It is a brand new Washer. Still confused on why it does this. This is my replacement for the first one I had that did the same thing. Can anyone give me any advice?

My machine is only 3 years old and it will only go through the wash cycle and not rinse and go any further. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be. I called Aaron's where I bought it and was told that since it's been paid off they can't send anyone to come look at it so now I'm stuck with a washer that won't go into the rinse cycle and finish washing?. I live on a fixed income and can't afford to buy another washer.

I have an Amana and it washes fine but when it starts to fill up to rinse it stops drains an doesn't spin out completely so then I turn it drain /spin

jessmaddox0726 since this is a brand new washer, I would recommend to not do anything about it from a DIY perspective just now. Call the vendor you bought it from and inform them of what is going on with your washer. Have them fix it for you since it will be their obligation to do so. Hold them accountable for this. Let us know how it works out so we can at least try and support you with this issue.

Had to get this at the beginning of the pandemic. Has done this from load one. I worked for Sears for years. This is the worst washer I have owned in all 45 years of doing laundry. I feel Amana needs to recall these and replace them. I'm on disability. This isn't even funny!
