How can I turn off the dvd player?

In the middle of a movie, it froze and the player started buzzing. The player can’t be stopped, forwarded, rewound, or opened. Is there an easy fix, or has the player run its course?

Hi,

What is the model number of the player?

Have you tried disconnecting the power from the player?

After it has powered off, reconnect the power and check what happens
