Hisense tv picture went black but still has sound
Tv went completely black. No visible background picture. I can still hear what's playing, even when changing channels… what is out? What went wrong?

you need to check your main board and your power board. First make sure that the power board supplies proper voltages to the main board. Then check the LED connector and see what the voltages are on it. If you have no power to the LED connectors it is your main board not enabling the backlight. If you have power to the LED connector but no backlight, it’s your Backlight LED arrays. Post some images of all of your your boards so we can see what you see

Mi hisense tv just turned black but it has sound of whats olaying what might be the problem and how can i fix it
My Hisense tv went black but sound and and tv channels I can hear but no pictures what could be the problem? Kindly assist. When even you turn it on the word Hisense does not appear on the screen.

Take a flashlight and shine it on the screen. If you can still see the picture, your backlights are not coming on. This could be a bad board but is more likely just a few bad LEDs. Here’s a video of the replacement process. Hope this helped!

There is no picture AT ALL.
@jhammer358 What is the model number of your TV?
@jhammer358 I'm having the same problem with my hisense 50" , wish I would have seen your post before about checking power to main board as I've replaced the led array but the black screen with volume remains. Do you know what the voltage should be to the main board and to the led connector. Thanks. Eddie
Check the picture mode settings on each function such as TV/cable or VCR and or Netflix. Toggle through the picture mode settings such as movie, low power, sport and so forth and see if it fixes it.

My 49" Hisense Smart tv backlight is always on even when tv is off.When it's dark in the room the tv gives light even when it's off. Is this normal?

I unplugged the tv for 5 minuets turned off the fast start led and power saver then went to settings and hit restart system it worked for now. I don't know how long it will last

How did you turn off the fast start LED if the screen goes black? If I unplug it, the red power LED goes out. Once I plug it back into the outlet, the red LED comes back on, and I can hear an audible click internally. Once I press the power button (remote or on the TV itself) the red LED goes out, I see the Hisense splash screen, but then it quickly goes to black and I have no more video. Audio persists. I can hear different channels as I change them and the volume changes too if I adjust it. I only have no video except for the brief moment that the Hisense logo/splash screen shows. For that brief moment, I can see the whole screen illuminate while the logo is being displayed.
Did you ever find a solution, other than a new TV? I'm having the exact same issue.

@rebekahmuoki06 there are so many different problems on here now, that it is hard to distinguish what issues your TV may have. We can assist you better if you tell us the exact model and what is going on with your TV.
Hi , I have a Hisense 65R7, just out of warranty. When I turn it on the screen turns from dark black to light black, no start up logo visible. My son got sound to work on utube but I think the input settings for the TV are a bit messed up cause we can't see the screen. I have tried the power reset as described on most of the internet fixes. Any advice, cheers

Did you ever figure this out? Mine does the same thing it’s so annoying. The only way to fix for me is to change the input then change it back. It happens constantly on other devices hooked up to the tv but of course the apps on the tv itself are fine.
