Battery not keeping it's charge
When I charge my battery for my Gopro Hero 3 and plug it into the go pro- it will turn right on and work great. Once I turn it off it won't turn back on and the Gopro gets Hot. Not sure what the issue is

@morgalynn getting hot is definitely not good news. This could be caused by some short circuit if it was maybe water damaged. I can also be caused by a bad battery. I would start by replacing that one first. Use these guides GoPro HERO3 Silver to work on your GoPro.
