Panasonic lcd tv Red light blinking problem

Panasonic lcd 24 inch tv red light blinking continiuosly but the tv won't turn so please any one help me ,how do i solve this problem

Hi,
First try a power reset.
Turn off the TV and then turn off and disconnect the TV power cord from the power outlet. Then press and hold (or turn on ) the TV's power button (or switch) for 30 seconds and release. Reconnect the power cord to the power outlet and switch on the outlet. Turn on the TV and check if it starts OK.
If that doesn't work, switch off the TV and disconnect the power cord from the power outlet disconnect all the cables from the TV and remove the back cover from the TV.
Check the power board (the one where the power cord connections go to) for domed, leaking or blown capacitors and also for possibly any other burnt out or heat stressed component.
If unsure about a component take close up pictures of the component in question and post back here. Hopefully someone will be able to help you further.

Can you explain your photos as to how you fixed the red light flashing and no picture or channel being turned on?

Any body what's the problem with my panasonic tv its blinking red light 9times . Its happen with 2days some time its turn on without blinking redlight and some time its not .i think my tv is their own mood?

I vacuumed the built up dust off the holes on the rear of the tv. It must have clogged the fan air intakes, so the tv was shutting down to stop it overheating and giving the blinking red light.

Mine is flashing 7 times so it's the SN board can this be fixed thank you.
@makawez same model? If so it could be your SN board as well as your PSS board. The boards are hard to fix since there are no schematics available but replacement boards should still be available

Y board of your tv is problem
If you can change the board
if not
you must repair (change damaged electronics part) if you can know witch one is damaged

Same problem
Fixed by attaching the wires directly to the PCB
I had this same problem after 5 years. It was impossible to source a replacement PCB and wire as all the Panasonic spare parts places are out of the TNPA6831 board.
The PCB itself was fine, but the header and wire connection were melted. I was able to get it fixed by having a mobile phone repair store directly attach the wires to the PCB. It's 2mm spacing between the wires, so it was beyond my soldering abilities.

@andyhamilt55158 could be :-) Just explain this "mine comes on and works then shuts of and constantly blinks red" a bit better. How long does it stay on and when it shuts off, can you restart it? If yes, any length of time you have to wait before it responds again? What exact model is it?
POwers on, comes on with picture, stays on for approx 30 seconds to a minute then power off, flashes red constantly doesnt stop

If we pull the power out and reinsert it it does exactly the same again, same cycle as above \
I’m having the same problem. I’ve blown all the dust out but have no idea if any components are faulty…photos will be added. Anyone that can help that would be awesome!

What is the model number of the TV?
Also count the number of times the red light blink before it pauses and then starts blinking again.
Can't find the service manual for your exact model but here's a page from the service manual for a similar model showing what a 10 blink error code means.
Perhaps check the A board first (see p.6 of the manual linked for location of boards in the TV)
As the schematics for the boards shown in the manual may not be applicable to the boards in your model this makes it difficult to find out which board may be the problem, unfortunately.

I tried (after trying several unsuccessful tips) switching off the TV for 1 minute (On the set). Then on the side of the set, holding the down program arrow button in and pushing and holding the on/off switch in until the remote light blinked green, keep holding it until the set came on. This was about 30 seconds. It worked. I notice that it now takes longer to get the set to start, but you can stop pressing the remote on once the indicator starts flashing green.

Amazing advice, thank you. We were just about to get rid of our tv as we could not turn it on. It is a 7years old Panasonic so we thought might as well replace it. Anyway cam across your advice and it worked.... great no need for a new one
