I have a nokia 3600 slide, i couldnt use all of 2gb of my memory card to store songs, images ,etc.... my memory card shows memory full jus as it reaches 700-800 mb, whereas ther"s still 1.2 gb free memory left in the micro-sd card

sounds like a faulty memory card.
i would use a card reader and check the card - maybe you should also try to put as muchs tuff on it as possible - if it fails - it's faulty
and by the way - 2gb aren't 2gb - so you never will be able to use the full size of it

but in my meory card im not even able to load items like pics, songs etc above 800 mb.... rem free space of 1.2 gb is going waste

you could try to chekc the card within windows. but to be honest - if a card fails, get a new one - those cards are cheap and i wouldn't risk any loss. stay away from those cheap cards on ebay - they are mostly crappy stuff from china
format the sd card after u can be able to load
songs, pics etc tovits full capacity
