You broke pins off the logic board?

So did you find someone to fix this for you? If so, who was it and how much did they charge?

Thank you!

Just an FYI, the connector is an I-pex 20455-030E readily available for around $5.00 USD

Ouch!

Looks like you pulled off the header plate from the main logic board with a few pins broken off with it. Not much you can do here on your own. The logic board will need to be fixed if it can be. Often the traces get damaged when you tear off a component/connector like this.

If you can find someone with the correct skills and parts they maybe able to put a new connector on to the logic board (you take the risk of it not working after it's fixed $$). Otherwise, you'll need to look for a logic board to swap out.

In either case it will be expensive. Given the age of the system you might want to think about getting a new system Vs fixing this one, and selling this system for parts. Chalk it up to as a learning experience - Sorry ;-{

This sort of repair is not a DIY project. An electronics shop might take it on, they would have the tools and experience required.
