Make sure that you use the correct sized tri-point bit.

When unscrewing, try putting a bit more downforce to prevent the bit from coming up from the screw as easily.

If the screw already is a bit striped, try doing the same with the next bigger sized bit and this may help you. Just remember to be more careful when using the wrong sized bit since it may strip it even more if you don't get a good grip from the start.
