Maybe you damaged the batterij, happens alot when you try to get the batterij out of hes case. if i was you i would try a new batterij.

bad batterie maybe? i always order 2x the item i need to replace if one show some issue is try the other one if other one gives same issue you know it's somthing else then the replacing part.

what i do if i got a stripped screw is place my screwdriver on it and hit it on the top then try again. watch out you don't damage your motherboard.
