To anyone reading this, I recently discovered that there's something wrong with my MacBook, and I stumbled upon this thread a bit late. I had experienced an issue where the screen would turn off when I opened it at a 90-degree angle, and I had previously gotten the cable fixed due to the flexgate issue that many of you have mentioned. However, 5 months later, a screen flickering problem appeared that wasn't there before. 3rd party repair technician told me that this could either be an issue with needing to replace the screen or with needing to replace the board, and the cost for either option is still expensive. it seems that those of you here have been trying for a year, but the conclusion is that the 2016 MacBook has many problems. Thank you anyway. I was able to let go of the thought of needing to get it fixed. Even if I pay $600 to replace the screen, I may end up encountering the same issue again. The comments were really entertaining. I have great respect for all the pure efforts made here.
