This type of icemaker is used on Whirlpool, Frigidaire, and other refrigerator-freezer types. The water is likely dripping from the bearing notch molded into the front of the ice tray. The long rod with ejector fins that push out the finished ice lays in this bearing notch. This is the lowest point from which the water can slightly overflow. This is why you get the dew drops from the front. #2 below fixed my icemaker drip problem. See image below. (1) Check that the entire refrigerator freezer is level. Check with a level on a freezer or refrigerator shelf. If the front of the unit is low and out of level it may cause this drip. If no joy then (2) Using a 1/4inch nut driver, loosen the 2) icemaker hanger screws (above the icemaker) and the 1) bottom mount screw (below the ice maker). Lift the front of the icemaker slightly higher than the rear of the icemaker and retighten the screws. Verify that the icemaker is securely mounted. This lowers the water level below the ejector rod bearing. If no joy then (3)...

阅读更多I've made attempts to correct this problem a few times before and I think I have finally found the best solution. # Remove any batteries or electrical connections to the device. # Using a new, dry paintbrush, aggressively dust the rubber surface to remove any lint or loose dirt. # Mix a few drops of dishwashing liquid with water, dip the brush, shake off excess water, and aggressively clean the rubber. Orient so that gravity helps drain moisture from any seams or openings with jacks, buttons etc. This will require many dips in the solution because you want to use as little water as possible. Allow to dry. # If dirt or oils remain, dip a lint-free cloth into the solution and lightly rub to clean. # Allow to fully dry; ideally in direct sunlight. Once dry, reinstall batteries to test for proper operation. Remove batteries. # Repeat step 2 with a dry paintbrush. Step 3 if needed. Allow to fully dry. (1) Prepare to paint. Using painters' tape, cut small rectangles and cover any lettering or labels that should...
阅读更多I had a similar problem with electronics and found an answer that seems to work well. (1) Clean the item as well as possible without damaging it with water and a single drop of Dawn or similar detergent. I found that a clean paint brush dipped in the water, shaken out, and aggressively brushed in the nooks and crannies worked well. Put a lot of effort into getting it super clean or dust and such will show up later. Let it air dry completely. (2) This will be sprayed with aerosol shellac. Cover for painting using blue painters tape, rubber hose pieces for knobs, popsicle sticks/wooden matches/toothpicks/skewers for electronic connections. (3) Spray with aerosol shellac using light coats until covered. (4) Optionally if you want a matte finish (this helps hide any imperfections in the rubber) use clear Rustoleum aerosol matte. #
阅读更多I agree. If you can see the switch it may be an open bimetal thermostat. May be bound or sticky. I'd bet that if unplugged it can be fixed.
阅读更多The electrical connector to the switch itself may be disconnected inside the handle. (1) After the obvious try a different outlet, verify the cord is plugged in both ends. (2) The connections to the illuminated switch in the handle are pressed on. After repeated dropping of the handle onto the floor, a switch connector may have fallen off the switch. (3) Unplug the unit and remove the screws holding the two sides of the handle together. Locate the loose wire and plug it back into the switch lug. (4) Loosely assemble the handle, plug in the vac and give it a try. If it turns on tighten the screws.
阅读更多Acetone (most nail polish removers) is the best solvent to quickly resolve this. Be careful cleaning printed labels or they may also wipe away on some devices.

阅读更多On Windows 10 and 11, the user icon to switch from front to rear camera in the app is where you change it. It will switch from front to rear view when clicked, and if clicked again, will switch cameras. It will step through all of your cameras in this manner. Poor user interface design because it's not at all obvious.
阅读更多Often an auto blower fan suddenly becoming noisy is a small leaf or twig inside the fan. Before buying a fan check YouTube to see if there’s a video on how to replace the fan blower. If you can get the blower out (it seems that some on some assembly lines cars are built around blower fans :-)) be sure to remove any debris near the blades. If you can get to the fan bushing, a dry lubricant will often quiet them down.
