most likely the hard drive has gone bad I have had 2 Western Digitals do that one in few days got replaced from WD and that one lasted about a year. if out of warranty can just replace the drive (standard laptop or Desktop drive) the plastic case just snaps apart finding the places to insert small screwdriver can be the trick.

my best guess is the fuse links after verification that battery not bad. had a repair tech work on my AC once and they put a jumper to make the compressor stay on but that was also the same connector that had alternator charge wire so the alternator was not charging battery car ran for a week before the battery was so dead car wouldn't run. look just like a wire small wires connected to larger wire, should be near battery or power bank. hope this helps just a general answer.
