| [* green] Continue stripping off an inch or so at a time until you have stripped off 6-8 inches of black shielding. | |
| [* violet] Cut the blue wire and white plastic strips. | |
| - | [* black] Fold the silver wire over on itself and twist it to make it less fragile. |
| - | [* black] Use wire cutters to cut the red and black wire to the same length as the now-folded silver wire. |
| [* black] Use wire strippers to strip off about 1/4 inch off of the black and red wires. | |
