Firmly holding the Gear, insert the flat side of the spudger at an angle to pry the back casing off of the device. Move the spudger along the sides of the Gear to completely detach the back and front components.

Where can one find said replacement battery. I had it on in less than a meter of water for less than 30 minutes and water was able to get in. Even though I did not subject it to its supposed limitations I am fairly certain that best buy or samsung will check the water indicator paper and tell me that it was my fault. I have taken it apart and gotten it all dried out. It will come on and function just fine and then when i unplug it it will turn off after a minute or so. At any rate, I would like to replace my battery but need to find one first.

I left my Gear 2 in a drawer for about a year and I couldn't get it to charge. I tried plugging into a usb in a laptop/desktop and a bunch of different cords. Samsung said it would cost $226 to fix, I bought this battery off of ebay and it has been working for the past 3 weeks. I will try and add a comment later after i have had it longer, but so far so good.

My Gear 2 does not light up(or is very dim as if it`s going to fade out). In any case, it does not function. Should the battery be replaced? Or is it something wrong with the display? Please advise.
