Use this guide to replace the RAM stick. If your computer freezes up momentarily while running several programs, this may be the guide for you.

  1. HP Compaq Presario CQ56-110US RAM Replacement, RAM: 步骤 1 中的图像 1，1

    • Ensure the laptop is unplugged and completely powered off. Loosen the three small screws using a #1 Phillips screwdriver.

    • The screws do not come free from the panel. They only need to be loosened enough so the panel can be lifted/pried.

    • Carefully pry the panel up using a plastic opening tool.

    • Pull the panel away from the laptop and set it off to the side.

    • Locate the latches on the RAM

    • Push the latches away from the RAM
