Identification and Background
The Smart Cover was first released alongside the iPad 2, and was designed to integrate "seemlessly" into that iPad. Utilizing magnets built right into the body of the iPad, the smart cover attaches and detaches easily, always in the correct orientation thanks to a clever arranging the the magnets.
The smart cover comes in a variety of colors options, and two material options: polyurethane and leather. Conveniently, the smart cover works with both the iPad 2 and the iPad 3.
